Every year since 2010, the Alliance Française Foundation organizes a grand international photography contest for the 835 Alliances Françaises of the world. It aimed at puting forward the wealth and the plurality of the Alliances Françaises’s network in the world (among 900) and at giving a chance to non professional photographers to benefit from an important visibility thanks to two exhibitions in Paris as well as an international tour.
For this third edition, the theme was ‘Professions of the world’. The non professional photographers were asked to portray men and women in the extraordinary diversity of their professions, in the beauty as in the hardships of their daily occupations. The exhibition in Panjim presents the 44 photos selected by the jury in Paris.
The exhibition has been travelling throughout 10 cities India, from Delhi to Trivandrum.
It will be on display for 10 days in the premises of the Alliance Française.
