Vincent and Bérengère, both from upper-middle-class families, are getting married. But the wedding does not begin well: for starters, the fabulous cake for the reception falls apart, one of the caterers is taking down a flight of stairs falls and last but not least, the priest is a crusty old man that does not tolerate pretentious people. The marriage is lived through the newlyweds’’ different point of view and by the bridegrooms themselves: secrets, resentment, misunderstandings and quiproquos succeed one another in the shade of a very, very ancient family secret.
