The Goans have always had a penchant for French language and culture. Since the XIX century it was a taught in various educational institutions including the Escola Médica, Asia’s oldest medical school and used in literary, judicial and business circles. Since for the last thirty years the Alliance française has been working towards reviving this heritage, it wishes you a warm welcome to this site of meetings and exchanges, to help you discover linguistic, cultural and artistic diversity of contemporary France and francophone countries right in the heart of Panjim and other goan towns.
