Campus France is a government agency that operates under the French Ministry of External Affairs. It is responsible for promoting French higher education abroad and welcoming foreign students and researchers to France. Its action is conducted in consultation with higher education institutions and their representative conferences: the conference of university presidents (CPU), the conference of grandes écoles (CGE) and the conference of directors of French engineering schools (CDEFI).
Campus France encourages international mobility, manages scholarship programs and leads the alumni network. It provides students and foreign researchers with tools to make them better acquainted with French higher education establishments and to find the right one for their project.
